Next to Plek Social intranet and Plek Community Platform, there is a special Plek for teams. Plek.teams is just as safe as Plek. It can be set decentral, is a self-service, and can be canceled monthly. At Plek.team you do not pay startup cost and you can start directly. Plus, the first month is free!
There a few differences between Plek.team and Plek. Since, this helpdesk is for the standard Plek, not all the functions discussed can be applied to Plek.team. Below we explain the differences.
Plek.team is for small and big teams, both within and between organizations. Since, Plek.team can be installed decentral, there is no need for an implementation project or startup costs. In this way, teams can immediately start at Plek.team. So, for whom is Plek.team? For everyone! At this moment it is used by caregivers’ teams (like housing counselors or home care), construction firms, and colleges. But you can also use Plek.team for your sports club or association, or for an event that you organize with your team.
Also, complex organizations, cooperation, and communities can use Plek.team. But, a more logical choice for them would be to use Plek as a Social Intranet or Community Platform, because of the expert guidance of Plek with the rollout and activation. Also, a ‘bigger’ Plek allows for an Active-Directory-link and extension.
Use your Plek.team, so that you can always switch to Plek Social Intranet or Plek Community Platform.
For Plek.team you pay €45 per month per block of 10 users. You add extra users per block of ten. At Plek.team you do not pay startup costs and you can directly start with your team. Plus, the first month is free!
Do you choose for Plek Social Intranet? Then, you pay €3,50 per user per month, and above 100 users there is a sliding scale discount. On top of that, you pay a one-time startup cost. These differ per organization since they rely on different factors.
Plek Community Platform costs €275 per month at 100+ users (€2,75 per user) or €825 per month at 500+ users (€1,65 per user). At more than 1000 users we offer a customized price with an attractive discount.

With Plek.team it is possible to start right away, without start-up costs or an implementation project. If you have question, you can look them up at help.plek.co. If this does not help, you can leave your question with one of our support staff.
Do you choose a Plek Social Intranet or Community Platform? Then, you will be guided with the implementation of your Plek. You get a personal account manager, who is with you since the implementation project. You can ask your question via the go.plek.co client community or via email or phone.
- One admin, team member are users
The persons who create a Plek.team are automatically the admin of the platform. All team members who are added by the admin, automatically become a ‘user’. To keep it simple for the admin, there are no different rights between the users.
Thus, at Plek.team there is no ‘content manager’, ‘external user’, or ‘only read’. The admin does choose who is invited to the platform, which could be external users. Via closed or hidden groups, you can make sure that team members outside your organization do not have access to sensitive information.
- No channel, but a standard group
At every Plek.team a first standard group is created. All the team members are automatically a member of this group. Team members can, in addition, create their own (project) groups of different compositions. The standard group can be used for general updates or questions for the whole team.
A channel at Plek Social Intranet or Community Platform is in fact also a group where every user is a member of. As an organization, you often need multiple channels, for example, cooperation news or HR announcements.
- No poll for the admin, but forms for all users
At the standard Plek, the admin can start a poll via the admin panel. This is a quick way to ask input from all your colleagues at the same time. All the old polls included results, are saved in the admin panel. At Plek.team the admin-panel is a lot simpler, which is why there are no polls. However, to asks the opinion of your colleagues you can add a form to a message. This can be done by the admin and by the users.
- No customization, integration, and expansion
Plek.team expansion is limited: you can personalize your Plek.team with your own logo and color. But, the customization and integration with external systems are not available for Plek.team.
Standard Plek can be extended with, for example, a taxonomy, task modules, bookings tool, an own mobile app, or integration with Office 365 and/or Google Drive.
