What are forced programs?

Forced programs are optional features in the Program Manager and are disabled by default. To enable them, please contact support@plek.co.

Note: This feature can only be enabled if you have access to the Program Manager.

With a forced program, you can present a program to a user that cannot be closed. The program must be completed before the user can continue using Plek. Currently, forced programs can only be used for onboarding steps.

How do I create a forced program?

Follow the standard steps for creating a program. When setting up notifications, select the Forced option.

Conditions for Forced Programs

  1. Forced programs can be used for onboarding steps. The following steps are available:
  • Filling in profile fields
  • Uploading a profile picture
  • Setting language preferences
  • Joining groups
  • Displaying group invitations

2. Forced programs can used for regular steps with forms.
3. Forced programs cannot be used for regular steps with sharing documents, pages, groups, or video calls.

Because of the significant impact of a forced program, we recommend testing it in a small group first. For example, create a test group and make the program available only to that group.
