To ensure the best user experience, we support a wide range of browsers, operating systems, and devices. Below is an overview of the supported platforms, including relevant links to providers for further details.

1. Supported Browsers 

Our application is optimized for the latest versions of the most commonly used browsers. We recommend always using an up-to-date browser version for the best performance and security.

  • Google Chrome – Latest two stable versions
  • Mozilla Firefox – Latest two stable versions
  • Microsoft Edge – Latest two stable versions
  • Safari – Latest two stable versions (macOS and iOS only) 

Note: Internet Explorer is not supported due to outdated technologies and security risks.

Plek is compatible with the most widely used operating systems on both desktop and mobile devices.

Desktop:

  • Windows: Latest two versions (e.g., Windows 10 and Windows 11) (Windows Info)
  • macOS: Latest three versions (e.g., macOS Sequoia, Sonoma, Ventura) (macOS Info)

Mobile & Tablet:

  • iOS: Latest two stable versions for iPhone and iPad (iOS Info)
  • Android: Latest two stable versions (Android Info)



3. Supported Devices

Our application has been tested and optimized for a wide range of devices. While Plek may work on other devices, we guarantee the best experience on the following models:

Desktop & Laptops:

  • Windows-pc’s en laptops from brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc.
  • Apple MacBooks en iMacs (with supported macOS versions)

Tablets & Mobile Devices:

  • Apple: all models supporting the two most recent versions of iOS
  • Android: all models supporting the two most recent versions of Android

Note: Older devices may experience limited performance.



4. Mobiele App

Plek offers a dedicated mobile app for both iOS and Android, allowing users to stay connected and collaborate seamlessly on the go. The app provides full access to messages, documents, and discussions, optimized for a mobile experience.

Branded app

In addition to the standard Plek app, Plek also offers the possibility of your own custom branded app in the app stores. Also for this branded app we advise to always use the most recent version.

5. Minimum System Requirements

For an optimal experience, we recommend the following minimum specifications:

  • Internet connection: Minimum 10 Mbps download speed
  • Screen resolution: Minimum 1280x720 (for desktop use)
  • Processor: Intel i5 / AMD Ryzen 5 or higher
  • RAM memory: Minimum 4GB (preferably 8GB or higher)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)


Q: Does Plek work on older operating systems like Windows 7?
A: No, due to security and performance limitations, we no longer support Windows 7 and older operating systems. We recommend upgrading to Windows 10 or 11.

Q: Can I use Plek on a Chromebook?
A: Yes, as long as you use the latest version of Google Chrome. Some advanced features may not work optimally on Chrome OS.

Q: Is there a native mobile app available?
A: Yes, Plek has a mobile app for both iOS and Android. Download the app via the App Store or Google Play.
