How do I manually add a translation to a post and/or page?

Manual translation of content is disabled by default on your Plek platform. Would you like to enable this feature? Please contact us via support@plek.co.

Plek currently offers the following languages: Dutch, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Czech, Hungarian, Polish.

For large organizations, it’s useful to offer a post or page in multiple languages, making information accessible to a broader audience. Once manual translations are enabled, you can add a translation to your post or page. You can either copy and paste the translation from an external translation tool or use your own translation skills.

  1. Create a channel post, group post, or page. (For posts: To add a message (or question) in another language, go to the advanced message editor. You do this by clicking on advanced at the bottom right of the quick editor.)
  2. Your content will be posted in the default language set for your platform. First, create your content in your default language.
  3. Want to add another language? Select “Translate to” and choose from the languages made available by your organization.
  4. Now, add the translation for your selected language.
  5. Finished drafting your multilingual content? Click "Post".

Your content will now be available in the languages you have added.
